Infantry Colonels received forage for 4 horses

Lt Colonels and Majors of Infantry each

received forage for 4 horses

Soldiers serving in a position of aid-de-camp

received the pay of Lieutenant plus $10.00

In addition, aid-de-camps received 2 extra

rations per day and were allowed 1 servant

Principal Musicians received the same pay

and rations as Sergeant Majors and

Quarter Master Sergeants

Musicians received the same pay and

rations as Privates
